Key Responsibilities
- Installation and Maintenance:
Responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of low-voltage systems like LAN, Telecommunications, Fire Alarm, CCTV, and Access Control Systems. - System Configuration and Testing:
Configure and test systems according to technical specifications, troubleshooting issues to ensure optimal performance. - Coordination with Contractors:
Collaborate with contractors and engineers to ensure successful execution of instrumentation systems across construction sites. - Compliance with Safety Standards:
Ensure all systems and work comply with safety standards and regulations to prevent accidents. - Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and system issues to assist with troubleshooting and future work. - Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:
Diagnose and resolve issues quickly to minimize downtime and ensure smooth system operations. - Continuous Improvement:
Regularly monitor system performance and suggest improvements or upgrades. - Collaboration:
Work closely with the engineering, project management, and electrical teams to ensure successful project completion.
Qualifications
- Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field. - Professional Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience in handling low-voltage systems (LAN, Telecommunication, Fire Alarm, CCTV, and Access Control Systems), preferably in construction or building projects. - Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with installation, configuration, and maintenance of low-voltage systems. Proficiency in testing and measuring equipment for diagnostics. - Language Skills:
Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken); knowledge of Hindi or Malayalam is a plus. - Visa Requirements:
Transferable visa (Visa 18) and immediate availability to join. - Personal Traits:
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks.
